Refund policy
Here's the English translation:
If A) you are a consumer or B) you are a natural person, and the contract concluded with us after December 31, 2020, is directly related to your business activity but is not of a professional nature for you, – in principle, you have the right to withdraw from the distance contract. You can withdraw from the contract by sending us a statement of withdrawal from the contract, for example, by email to: kontakt@sovabooks.pl Send us the returned goods immediately to the address: ul. Żurawia 6/12, unit 525 (5th floor), Warsaw, but no later than within 14 days from the day you withdrew from the contract. You can withdraw from the contract within 14 days. The fourteen-day period for withdrawal from the contract begins:
- for a contract under which we transfer goods and are obliged to transfer ownership of them – from the moment the goods are taken into possession by you or a third party indicated by you other than the carrier, and in the case of a contract that covers multiple goods delivered separately, in batches or parts – from the moment the last goods, batch or part is taken into possession by you or a third party indicated by you other than the carrier. To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send the statement before it expires. The payments made by you, including the costs of delivering the goods under the conditions specified in the regulations, we will refund to you immediately, but no later than within 14 days from the day we receive your statement of withdrawal from the contract. We may withhold the refund of the payment received from you until we receive the goods back or you provide proof of their return – depending on which event occurs first. Remember that the right to withdraw from a distance contract does not apply to you, in particular, in relation to a contract:
- whose subject is goods made according to your specification or serving to satisfy your individualized needs;
- whose subject is goods that deteriorate quickly or have a short shelf life;
- whose subject is goods delivered in sealed packaging that cannot be returned after opening the packaging for health protection or hygiene reasons, if the packaging was opened after delivery;
- whose subject is audio or video recordings or computer programs delivered in sealed packaging, if the packaging was opened after delivery. Complaints If you are a consumer, in case the goods purchased from us turn out to be defective, you have the right to file a complaint under warranty obligations (rękojmia). It is best to direct the complaint to the email address: kontakt@sovabooks.pl or by mail to the address: ul. Żurawia 6/12, unit 525 (5th floor), Warsaw. Defective goods should be sent to the address: ul. Żurawia 6/12, unit 525 (5th floor), Warsaw. In connection with the defect, you can demand:
- replacement of the goods with defect-free ones,
- removal of the defect, or make a statement about:
- price reduction,
- withdrawal from the contract – in case of a significant defect. We are responsible to you for defects revealed within two years from the date of delivery of the goods. Generally, you can file a complaint within a year from the moment the defect is detected, but the deadline for filing a complaint cannot expire earlier than the seller's liability period. Processing of your complaint (providing a response to it) will take place within 14 days from the date we receive your complaint notification.
